When I wen to Culinary School (2010) the Japanese Knife that dominated the kitchen was the Glestain 270 Gyuto. Back then it was deepest scallops you could find on knife.

with carbon steel if you wash it and dry it after every use it will take quite a while to rust. also dont put any of these in the dishwasher

Are there any wa style nakiri or bunka you would recommend under 150? I know that's a bit low for Japanese carbon steel, that's why I ask. Most of my knifes are around double that price or half of it so I want to see what I can get for that.

I love the handle on that Tadafusa. I don't think you see a lot of hidden tangs with bolsters on Japanese knives.

When I start buying knives, I woude want to stay with one brand/maker. So my question is. What brands woude you recommend, and which would you not recommend?

I have a tojiro zen 240mm it has laminated vg-10 it works great edge retention is good and it only cost me just under 100eur (not including tax)
