Yes. I can probably do that by holding the back of the handle and dropping the blade on the bell pepper. And a Global isn't even a heavy knife.

Im thinking please dont whip out a huusk knife. On another note is there a common steel that is used the most with kitchen knives is it at all like pocket knife steel where they have 10 options and everyone has their own? What steel is most recommended for home chefs.
