My delicious angel food cake is light as air, soft as clouds and just about perfect with a dollop of whipped cream and a smattering of berries. It’s basically the cake version of a vanilla marshmallow cloud!

My 5 year old is OBSESSED with Preppy Kitchen. The other day she helped me make the Hummingbird Cake recipe & my husband asked "Who's the guy you watch?"
Before I could respond my daughter goes "He's John Kanell, he likes to make homemade dishes to share with our family and friends" LMAO.

We raised chickens when my mom was with us...and there was an OVER ABUNDANCE of eggs. My mom would make Angel Food cakes almost every day! They would be so light that one person could eat a whole cake. LoL She would use the yolks for noodles and pound cakes and freeze those for later. This takes me back...thank you for that John. I miss her.

Whenever I have needed superfine sugar, I throw it in my blender a 1/2 cup at a time until I get the desired consistency, then re-measure what I need. Works perfectly every time. Great video as always. I love Angel Food cake. :)

This was my favourite cake growing up and my Mom would make one every year for my birthday. She would invert it on a wine bottle while it cooled and we would have it with whipped cream and berries. I’ll have to try this recipe!

I made this gluten free for my 4th of July berry trifle today, and it turned out so wonderfully. Incredibly fluffy/airy and fragrant. Everybody LOVED it.

I made this yesterday following measurements instead of weight and it turned out perfect. Fluffy, white, amazing. By weight the sugar was a little more than a cup and that made me nervous. So I used 1 1/2 cups of sugar. I couldn't find fine sugar, so I pulsed it in my blender until it was practically powdered sugar. Baked 35 minutes. This was my first from scratch angel food cake and my whole family loved it. Thank you!

I now have made this cake 5-6 times in the last month. It turns out perfect every time and this is hands down 500% better than any angel food cake you could ever buy at the store, it is so much better, you will NEVER buy another store bought one. This is my next door neighbors favorite cake and she is a vet Tech and who has saved the life of my dog, so I make it for her a lot. She rants and raves! Thank you for such a wonderful recipe. I am now a BIG fan of yours and turn to you for all my go to recipes. Plus your a hoot to watch...Sending my love to you and gratefulness....<3

I made this amazing cake yesterday with a seven minute frosting for my birthday, along with the chicken pot pie soup. Both were out of this world amazing. Thank you so much for the great recipes.

I can’t thank you enough for putting the nutritional info with your recipes on your site. My daughter has T1 diabetes and I always have to enter the recipe on another site by hand and get the carbohydrate information. Thanks for helping me avoid that step!
