Today we do a size comparison between the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and 11-inch iPad Pro! Now that we have mouse support and a magic keyboard coming soon... I decided to try the 12.9" to see if I could make the jump to a larger tablet. Ultimately, I decided to keep the 11" over the 12.9" iPad Pro! Which would you choose?

11" iPad pro is $799.
12.9" iPad pro is $999.
$200 difference not $100.

I find myself wanting one for absolutely no reason at all. This quarantine has me so bored, I want to spend money I don't have.

Apple seriously just needs to make a 12” model. That would be the Goldilocks size for sure.

It's simple if you have a laptop then go for 11 inch & if you don't have a laptop then get the 12.9 inch it'll help in both.

I choose 11inch for me

I owned the 12.9 first then I went to the 11. I am all about the 11 at this point. So much lighter, more discrete, fits in smaller bags, and is more maneuverable. Good video sir.

The 12.9" grabs too much attention in public when you're on the bus or something. The 11" is much more discrete like a regular tablet and people won't bat an eye.

I personally own the 12.9 inch one and I really love it. I especially like it because I tend to use the multitasking feature to put my textbook on one half of my screen, and my notes on the other. I've never had an issue carrying it around. That's one of the main reasons why I got the larger iPad. If you want to try to FULLY convert from paper to the iPad, the larger one is great because it can fit absolutely everything you need on the screen and you may tend to multitask more than you really think ;)

Another factor is battery life! I mean I don't mind the size of the 12.9 but battery tests suggest that the 11 lasts a lot longer (almost two hours longer) than the 12.9. That's a huge thing to consider with portability

Excellent question that make me choose the right iPad for me: Do you want a laptop that you can sometimes use it as a tablet?, or Do you want a tablet that you can sometimes use it as a laptop?... bravo.

This is such a hard decision for me, I wish there was a 12", I think a 12" would be the perfect size for me.

As a performing musician, the 12.9” is ideal for my particular use case: sheet music, which the 12.9” displays at FULL size. Yes, it’s a bit heavier than the 11”, but a helluva lot lighter than any ONE of my music score books.

I chose the 11 inch. Why?:

Because I couldn’t afford 12.9 inch

Plus if you get the smaller size you can get more built in storage if that’s on the mind too

Thanks, I wasn’t sure which size to get but now I’m sold on 11 inch. 12.9 inch is nice with the extra screen space but I like holding my iPad rather than laying it on my desk and I’m never gonna be using it as a laptop replacement.

Recently purchased the 12.9” 4th generation iPad with Apple Pencil and completely blown away by it after upgrading from iPad mini. Don’t give it a second thought, 100% recommend the 12.9” version, it’s amazing!!

I’ve also been battling with the choice of size, but ultimately decided that the 11’ is more suitable for my use case. As a tablet, the 11” is much more comfortable to hand hold. It’s just a pleasure to use away from the desk - where I feel the 12.9” is more suited for use at a desk.

When I’m at the desk and when I want to get some real work done, I plan to use an external monitor with Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad.

I used to own a Sony Clie! I think the one I had was a UX50. Those things were so cool!

Watched probably 10+ videos trying to decide which size to get and your question in the beginning instantly made me decide on the 11inch. THANK YOU!
