If I took one $2.00 order, ended my dash then used fast pay option that would put $0 dollars in my account. Stop taking these orders.

Basically, a lot of drivers new or experienced have an employee mentality. They just look at the fact they are getting paid. They don't take into account what they are spending to accomplish the work. They don't realize what it takes to be an independent contractor.

I used to make about 35 dollars an hour. Now I'm lucky to make 20. Stacked orders for 6 dollars and 5 dollar orders going 10 miles are the new norm. Does anyone else feel like doordash picks on veteran drivers to lose them only to get new drivers that will accept any order?

I don't take anything under $8 and less than 5 miles.

Getting nothing but low (<$6.00 Orders). Which until recently was almost unheard of.

I opened my DoorDash App today for the first time, the very first order was $3.50! In my area that is just over the cost of a gallon of gas.

I never give in. I have set standards. If I get too many low offers I either use a different app or call it a day.

I noticed a lot of orders have way higher base pays for people who tip low or tip nothing. I am glad that #DeclineNow is working! And no I do not take any junk order that pays less than $8 nor do I take offers that pay less than $2/mile (certain exceptions apply). Because of this, I typically make $30/hour on a typical day (slow days I make $25/hour and busy days I make $40+/hour).

They’ve pulled all of these with me all the time. Money is down for me this week because all I get are garbage offers

People who don't tip; waste your time, gas, mileage, and gas money, and put wear and tear on your car.

They are also alot mouthier and rude with the mouth and un apprective of their delivery people.

Set a minimum you want to get paid per assignment and don't go below that amount (for every assignment that appears on your screen).

Don't feel obligated to accept any lowballing offer, know your worth.

Yea, I was about to talk to a no tip customer, but I saw no way of doing that without angering the customer. I don’t need a one star review on my account.

Consider that these driver apps have another motivation. that they use your social profile to determine how much they will let a driver make. Anyone does not think they would use an algorithm to do that then I laugh hahaha

I agree with you; however, the American worker is everyman for himself. We are in it together but most drivers behave like we are competing with each other. That is why we never see any positive change for any worker in this country.

Geez! These fools are hell bent on working people at slave wages, this all averages out to about $2.00 an hour. UberEats are on the same drag, their goal is to work you totally for their benefit alone. Nothing has changed, they have the market to take advantage of those who continue to toil for low pay, even incarcerated individuals make more than a DoorDash driver just making license plates.

All I get are 4-6 dollar orders, and if I decline too many they will shut me down for 10 mns. Then it starts all over again
