If there was no rain Denver's offense would have been better. I do not think the Jets would have been great against Denver's defense no matter what. So, I think the rain helped NY more than Denver. Denver would have probably beat the Jets pretty soundly without the rain.

The Broncos have played 3-1st place teams, a second place team, and 3 games on the road. Their two losses were only by 1 possession each against division leaders. Maybe they are better than the talking heads think.Their defense is legit. This team won a SB with a great defense and a mediocre offense.

Broncos defense deserved more than 30 seconds of credit at the end. They made the Bad Man put a towel over his head and cry.

Coaching was the deciding difference in this game. Payton is a respected head coach and Saleh is a good defensive coordinator, who is trying to be something he isn’t. Because of talent alone the Jets might squeak into the playoff but to hope for anything more is unrealistic.
