my mom is a registered nurse on a surgical floor during the night shift, her unit has been completely turned into a covid unit, nurses are getting their temperature taken when they arrive to work, and they have to change into their scrubs when they get there. to all healthcare workers, i say thank you

Cloth masks are in fact very helpful. For one they keep your hands off of your face, for another they prevent you from spreading the virus if in fact you are carrying it.
