The nurse was checking how dilated I was when she said, "oh my, lots of hair down there." I blushed like mad and said, "sorry it's been hard shaving what with this gigantic baby belly." The nurse immediately apologized with, "no! Not you! Your baby! Your baby has a lot of hair on her head! Oh my God, I need to work on phrasing." 😂😂😂

My first child a nurse there was so mean talking about how women should do their job and shave. A older nurse came in heard her and said " these women are already having a hard time pushing babies out dont add more unnecessary stress" she was a angel to me

Shaving actually makes little cuts that can cause infection! i shave my belly (don’t judge haha) and my doctor asked me to stop before a surgery on my uterus

My nurses had me cracking up when i had my last baby lol. I had all 3 of my kids in 2 years (no twins lol), when the nurses saw me they said "Really?! Another one?!" I laughed so hard! Then when I was being discharged they said "see you next year!" Lol!!

When I was in labor with my 2nd, I could help but push even tho they didn’t want me to. It was an all natural labor. I was well hydrated and shot a large stream of pee right in the air as they was putting my legs in the stirrups. They had on face shields. The doctors said “well we know she’s well hydrated” and they all chuckled. I was like “omg I’m so sorry”. They were like “oh no sweetie don’t be. We’re happy you’re hydrated. Let’s have a healthy baby!” Shout out to y’all💯🙌🏾❤️

Wish i had you. When my water broke my nurse told me i probably just peed. Then when i was screaming in active labor, my nurse didnt believe me and acted annoyed with me screaming in pain. I was 10 cm and pushed my son out 40 minutes later.

it’s heaven sent having nurses that actually care about humans, seeing any living thing in that amount of pain that child labor causes should trigger some type of emotions

At my delivery the midwife rolled her eyes when i had to vomit 😢 it was so inappropriate. I get it's not easy to see these things, but being mindful and compassionate is super important quality of a healthcare worker... ❤

Not everyone is as sweet like this unfortunately .
My first ob was a man and when he looked down there on delivery day he was like “you didn’t shave I see 🤨😑.”

And I was like “I’m sorry … I didn’t know this was bikini model magazine try outs, I thought I was here to give birth 🙄.” And it’s not like I could if I wanted to at 9 months pregnant, no woman can even see down there. First time I was ever an asshole to that doctor lol .
Then I had one of the delivery nurses tell me to shut up while I was pushing . I shot her the dirtiest ass stare and was like “thankyou . if I shit myself just know it’s in dedication to you 😤 for such a kind suggestion .”

I accidentally threw up on the nurse helping me. I felt so bad. But if she was bothered at all she didn't show it. She was a real champ!
