My question is how can I safely improve my easy pace? I have been keeping easy runs easy (maffetone heart rate) and hard runs hard, but I’m wondering how to know whether I’m going too easy and following the rules of conversational pace too closely, or if I just need to be more patient. hi, am i ruining my "easy runs" by throwing in some intervals or tempo runs at the end? thoughts?
