I used to have a very poorly monthly report that was built with multiple Pivot Tables with space between each one. The page had a several columns between the individual Pivot Tables that were hidden to make it seem like it was one big table. Again, I openly admit that it was a horrible design, but it worked for a few years.

The problem was that there were many of the cells that had expected errors. Conditional formatting would not work well because when I refreshed the tables it would kill most of the conditional formatting. So, I had a few macros to do some of the work for me.

This would have saved me a TON of time in that very poorly-designed report. In the end I wound up spending a few hours every evening for a few weeks to redesign the entire report to do it the "right way", which saved me many hours a month and reduced the errors significantly.

But I will definitely be putting this tip to use in the future. Thank you for sharing.
