Bravo! I’ve watched this video a dozen times. The first time, I used it to show my wife what was involved with a retiling we needed in the kitchen. Your delivery and instructions were superb. Walked me through step by step, and the floor looks fantastic.

I have watched 5 videos of tile replacement but none of then couldn’t get me all the info I was looking for. Thank you very much. This was really helpful

As a mechanic who is tackling his own home repairs, I thank you for this very informative vid.

Thank you so much for posting!!! I wasn't looking for a PHD education in kitchen tile, just need to do a repair. You were spot on, with the quick, clean information i needed to get the job done. I am saving your channel for future tutorials, as my house is nearing 20 years old. I figure i'll need to know a little bit about a lot of things :)

Thank you very much for your tutorial. This was a weekend project. It required a bit more work than I thought, but it was worth it in the end. You helped me out greatly, and I saved quite a bit of money, even though I had to buy many of the tools you mentioned. I know I will use them again someday elsewhere in the house, so I consider that an investment. Thank you so much for your help!

I decided to learn how to replace my tile myself when I suspected I was being misled with a mighty price tag. I detest being manipulated, thanks for your video.

Great video!

Small tip: You can decrease the amount of tile shards during chiseling by covering the tile with wide masking tape beforehand.

I was nervous doing this, but after watching your video, think I am kind of motivated to give it a try.

Thanks man, great video! I just dropped a pot plant on my tile and want to fix it myself rather than pay a ridiculous amount for min charge labour. You just schooled me up in 20mins!

Thank you very much, I think you have probably one of the videos out there on this.
I’ve just pulled up a few tiles in the bathroom and having a go myself, obviously I’ll need to seal mine, but your video has put me on the right path.

Thank you for posting this video on cracked tile replacement. I have 3 kitchen tiles exactly the way you have shown in video to remove and replace!

I also discovered what a racket is the tile business.
my floor wasn't grouted, they simply used the thinset to serve as grout, one enormous time saver and trick-of-the-trade I did discover and wholly respect.
edit: for spelling

The Back Buttering idea is great. I have an old 1905 house with a slightly sloped kitchen floor. This extra tip will hopefully help keep my tile down. I have a few cracked tile to replace so I'm getting that oscillating tool you showed and thought about getting that Premixed SpectraLock 1 grout .. its $94 but its supposed to perform like Epoxy grout. My grout was coming out and chipping so I'll just redo it all.

thank you and thanks for going back to show how the tile will most likely come up. Much appreciate the extra step.

This was a great explanation. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I had a couple of damaged tiles on the master, so I did not want a stranger working there. I bought most of the tools you have and I did it. The floor looks great...
