Convert Old Video Tapes with OBS | Video8 Hi8 Digital8 | Tutorial Guide

Great clip!!!! I bought the USB2.0 VHS converter online for about $10 . The software Honestech that came with it, is bad. The voice is not synchronized to the video when converted. I followed your step by step guide using OBS on Windows 10 PC. It worked great. I converted my many 20+ years old VHS tapes to MP4 !!! Thank you for this great video! --from from Los Angeles.

Top tutorial many thanks!!! only problem I had is the fade from preview to program both preview and program are both showing at all times. Any tips would be much appreciated.

While the sound may only be in mono you can get an audio splitter to send it to both sides. I do this on my NES to my Crt. It makes the sound come out of both sides even though the nes has only one audio jack. It would not be true stereo but during playback, if watching with headphones you would hear the audio in both ears.
