I visited Indonesia almost 10 years ago and travelled all over Java.
My favourite place was when I spent a week in Yogyakarta. Walking around the town, eating lunch in the courtyard of the water temple, the colourful batik clothing, and at night time all the lights and those pedal-powered mini cars that parade around.
Hopefully I can visit again one day.

What I love about restaurants that have spicy challenge in Indonesia is that they always use fresh chillies and the sambal are house made. I did a spicy sushi challenge in the States and they used hot sauces that come in bottle with extracts that has high scoville level. Hot, but doesn’t taste good at all!

I remember when I stay in a boarding house with the Indonesian ladies and I'm the only one Filipina. When food is coming in the table it's looks so yummy the chicken curry...I did not notice that's lots of chili the food and it's burn in my I eat sugar to remove the spicy.😂😂😂 Indonesian people so friendly I like them.
