Lilly, these updates on the situation in Europe are valuable to those of us who distrust the media. Thanks for your work!

I live in Oregon, we have had many fires over the years that were blamed on "climate change". Later it turned out that many were due to arson/activists, homeless, wreckless campers or lightning strikes. Our govt is supposed to maintain the forests but don't. I've gone out and there's piles of wood waste all over the forests where logging is done and they're basically giant tinder boxes

Research the importance of CO2 - when trees and plants get enough CO2 they're able to hold moisture therefore less likely to catch fire (the subject is very interesting).

Forests can't ignite themselves. The big problem with the forest and bush fires is that they were very badly managed. There was not any clearing away of the brush. And there was not any selective felling. As a result there was a massive build up of fuel which, when burnt, caused massive environmental damage all courtesy of the greenies.

So nice to see you Lilly..! My vegetable garden did great...! ( here in Southern Quebec)..I grow I in grow bags...we had lots of sun, heat and rain at night often..or a storm...my peppers of all kinds were abundant and reading.. as well as tomatoes, eggplant...lettuce...beans, not so good this year...and discovered an anti- fungal, bacterial, anti bug of all kinds....I researched as I took care of my neighbors big garden..and slugs, flea bugs and others started eating...So I researched and found this...I teaspoon of turmeric powder per liter of water and spray soil around the plant..and also leaves...and it works..!! Spray again after the rain..if using a spray jug..just measure went to the town fruit n vege shop and greenhouse and the owner said everyone was frustrated with their garden.. bugs, etc....not ours ( me n neighbor)..! Apparently in India the turmeric is being used ..and they said it is better than any old chemical herbicide and insecticide...So bye bye bacterial wilt..slug eaten peppers..etc..!!

As a 25 year forest fire fighter in British Columbia, I can attest that self-combusting forests only happens in pictures, if the environment is poorly drawn by a very young child.

I had heard that a company in the US that sells bulk organic food for preppers and homesteaders had a fire that destroyed their main business and that the "experts" blamed the fire on corn husks that rubbed together.

I live in the United States, in South Carolina, we almost always have days of 100 degrees, I have never seen a forest spontaneously erupt lol, and we have thousands upon thousands of acres of woodlands.

Regarding that first story, the cool thing about research scientists is that if you give them enough money they will find whatever you want them to.

Same thing going on in the US Lilly. I went to work at a Hardee's in Louisville Ky about 3 months ago. Month one; everything okay. Month two; time worked cut by about 5 hours per week. Month 3 and current; almost no one gets even 20 hours per week. My last pay deposit was under $500.00 dollars for a two week period. I had to plead with my boss for more. Still only 27.5 hours. Better than 19. I'm certain that, it's only a matter of time before; one or two per week start getting the ax. Corporate is already preventing more than two people from working from 2 PM to 9. Eventually only two people from 3:30 am to 9 PM. No doubt it's coming.

If you grow potatoes, you can collect the potato berries that appear after they flower. They contain true potato seeds.

I am from Greece, this summer was pretty mild in terms of temperatures, and yet there were thousands of "fires" appearing at the same time, or conveniently some hours before the afternoon when planes cannot fly. 90% if not more is manmade fires.
