The nicest, funniest and happiest person I've ever seen on earth, took his own life. His name was Robin Williams. A person can smile in your face and soon as you blink you could be taking your last breath bc u focused on them being nice instead of everything else that played out in front of you. Give me harsh HONESTY over niceness, the harsher the better bc then I'm more prone to listen & take action. Give me loyalty, respect, appreciation, honesty and realness over nice any day

As someone who worked in customer service for years, I hate when people are too "nice" to tell you what is wrong when you KNOW they are unhappy about something. How can I help fix it if you won't give me the chance by politely letting me know what you're disappointed about? Now we are BOTH annoyed about something that can more than likely be remedied thru conversation. You aren't being "nice", you're being impossible to please.

I'm more of an agreeable type, but I'm constantly pushing to be as disagreeable as I can. I really admire people who can stand their ground and tell the truth straight to people's faces. The world runs because there are individuals who won't tolerate bullshit

As a disagreeable person my question is, "is this true?" And sometimes as a nice disagreeable person I ask, "is this person ready for this truth?"
My friends say I don't have a filter, but I do, I just don't filter out everything that's going to cause discomfort.
