I grew to associate that tune with Alain's voice and appreciated the familiarity. I don't have a clue who the new voice is but we should trust that he must know what he is talking about. At least the tune is the same, hope that doesn't change.

I agree with everything except for the fasting part. First our digestion system takes a while to work with the food we put in our body. It's not like you eat and it's all gone in few hours. Carbs in general make us more energetic, but if we consume them right before a workout it can actually make us lazy. In fact my sleep is at it's absolute peak when I eat bunch of carbs right before bed. I train and perform fasted and it hasn't been a problem. Would not go as far as saying it's better, but it's quite the same in terms of long term results. You will have amino acids in your system anyways unless your last meal was like days ago.

I use a very comfortable cushioned shoe but proper Earthing/Grounding before a workout is great, no one seems to mention this, the nonconductive soles in footwear does not allow proper natural grounding which relieves electrical charge caused by rf waves and things. Swimming and showering provides grounding as well. I never use wireless devices to start with.

Mistake 5: Don't skip your warm up.

Funny, I just came from the other video of 7 best things you can do... and that talked about how you should skip your warm up - for the 18% of people a warm up decreased performance. Guess this was updated with new information found. I've always found that I perform better 'cold' rather than warmed up so might be an outlier there.
