With all that's going on in Bucky's mind, the trauma he's dealing with and how so much of himself is tied to Steve and the shield, I get why he is resentful of the Walker situation. But Sam is the more even tempered well-adjusted one. You would think diplomacy would be more Sam's thing in this situation.

My biggest problem with this show is for all the talk of "accountability", Sam and Bucky do not once seem to acknowledge how much they screwed up with John Walker.

John wanted to work with them, not against them. He didn't always make the best choice, but his heart was in the right place. Sam gave up that shield and expected the government to just let it sit in museum. Bucky I get, that shit is REALLY personal for him. Still, it's not like he offered an alternative.

The point being is that while this guy would never be Steve, he was still trying, still understood the weight of that shield. Sam and Bucky tried the understanding route, AFTER his best is friend murdered by terrorists, that mind you Sam gave one too many chances to "talk it out".

To be clear, its not their legal responsibility to make sure John Walker was a good cap. But they also didn't have to demoralize the poor guy either, when at the end of the day all he wanted to do was help.

This show tried, but I can't help but feel like it failed in some crucial areas.
