The thing is Bucky always had a sense of humour, you can see that in the first Captain America movie. It was expunged out of him as he was forced to become the winter soldier. His life was so astray and now he’s back and has some sense stability with Sam Wilson. This is the real Bucky.

I read someone comment on twitter that this is just Sebastian, not Bucky; not in a humourous way, but as though it was lessening the character. But Bucky's idea of a hot date (on his last day before shipping out to WW2) was taking a girl to what was essentially a big science fair - of course he read the Hobbit; why is anyone even surprised?! I'm loving seeing this side of him.
