The 2022 Hyundai Tucson Luxury is only available as a Hybrid or a Plug-in Hybrid. This system allows Hyundai to add power, and efficiency to the Tucson, but some people are nervous about understanding all of the technology. In this video, Peter walks you through some of the cool technology in this car and helps make sense of it all.

Been driving the 2WD hybrid in Europe for a week and the fuel consumption seems to be indeed somewhere around 6.5 liters

Great video!
Can the side mirrors fold-in? Just something for my parking spot.
Also, is that a traditional mirror? I like to flip and dim the mirror night time.
Hope you do a video on the plug-in too.
Thanks!

Great content Peter! Thank you. And I agree with your comment about the no-knobs criticism.

I was OK with the touch controls after I sat on a demo and looked at its functions for a couple of minutes. Besides, it fits the minimalist and futuristic look of the car. Even tested Apple CarPlay with my cable when I went out for a test drive.

We ordered a plug-in Ultimate, not from your location, sadly you are too far. But I have no doubt once we pick up the car, even my non-nerdy wife will get used to it after driving it a couple of times.

I haven't been able to find this interior color on Hyundai's web site. The only options are black or grey. Is this a custom colour or a new option not yet up on their website?

How about a video of how to charge a PHEV? I picked up my Tucson Luxury PHEV yesterday and stumbled my way through how to charge the battery. I read the manual, but a video would be so much easier to understand. For example on the charger cable you can select 6a, 8a, 10a, or 12 a to charge the battery. An explanation of this would be helpful

For the Tuscon, my wife has one and we are confused on how the hybrid and gas work together. Sometimes she will start the car and RMP is at zero sometimes it goes to 1500. Also sometimes when she's driving around 30 KM/H sometimes the rpm revs up sometimes its at 0. Is this all normal? We have not noticed a big fuel savings with this SUV in the 10 months she's had it.

Can you do a video on the Hyundai Key Card and how to set it up if you haven't made one. I have the 2022 Hyundai Tuscan Hybrid AWD and I love it! Love your videos btw! The car you're reviewing is the one I have in the US.

Can you do a trim comparison between the three hybrid models?

Rear wheels look considerably smaller than the front wheels

I just placed my order for the PHEV model. Stunning SUV. But I'm kinda nervous, because gasoline cars are unfortunately still more convenient these days. But having the gas and electric sounded like the best compromise...just wish it went longer on the just electic mode. All in all, coming from a 2021 Mazda CX-5...this car will take some getting used to but it seems a lot smarter than the Mazda.

I just bought the SEL trim...OMG! This car is awesome! Only bummer side is level 2 charging station needs to installed if you want full charge faster. Oh and power liftgate and moonroof is only on the trim line higher than the SEL. Thank you for this video.

I keep getting calls and emails from Hyundai at KingsCross to swap my 2017* which honestly, is the best year for a Tucson. I like nothing about the new models, no heated back seats and the Hyundai logo on the back, it's as if the vehicle has no smile. I get the pandemic has messed with their sales, but if you want to resell what I have, come at me with a better offer and a vehicle that is exactly like the one I have or better. Not worse.
