It’s crazy to see how far Hyundai has come in the last 20 years, they truly went from bargain basement to truly innovative

Just did a 22-mile trip half city, half highway in my new Tuscon Blue. I monitored the eco gauge but didn't go crazy, feathering the gas to stay in battery mode as much as possible. One trick I used was to go into sport mode on the highway to completely charge the battery. Result was 58.6 mpg! No misprint. First full tan of gas without regard to fuel economy was 39 mpg. Awesome.

Still no double feet tap before getting in. The hell, Topher? You can't just abandon a tradition.

Love the looks of this car! Hyundai has come such a long way from their lackluster vehicles in the early 2010s. The Tucson has always been a car that people overlooked, and now I think it's finally getting buyers' attention.

Keep up the great reviews!

I bought one recently. Great car! Getting the advertised mpg, even with my normal "peppy" driving. The driving assistance systems are awesome, it makes highway driving a breeze. Its also pretty dang quick.

Looks good in silver but it looks the best in black by far

Just got this and love it. Its silent. Really fast and has all the tech for today.
Excellent mpg.
And not boring and cheap feeling like Rav4 or the Venza.
Drive in sports mode. Steering becomes heavy, and is much quicker. And remember this is 0-60 in 7.1 seconds. And hybrid.
And you are right. This is my 1st hybrid, and hypermiling is an awesome game. Especially in long drives.

Just got the base one today and am pretty impressed with the features of this trim. After looking at a base rav4 hybrid there is NO comparison. For the same money you get SO MUCH more and a better warranty. I’m at 46 mpg after driving it around today. I traded my 18 rav4 hybrid se in and it is smoother, quieter, bigger, more efficient and has remote start.

Everyone seems upset about no volume knob, but honestly in my current car I can't remember the last time I touched the volume knob...I only ever use steering wheel controls anyway!

ok, this is where I begin. I found this review likely one of the best. I test drove this car in late summer. It is an incredible drive for the money. My first Tucson was the redesigned 2016, which I traded up to the 2019 Ultimate. I have zero complaints about this product. They are comfortable, and a great driving machine in my opinion. I do get that you guys try to engage all driving styles, however, this car is meant to be efficient. I dare say there are few Hybrid's out there that give the driving experience that this one does. In my opinion, it's like sitting in a Genesis, and the comfort and power are just what I personally love about this car. As for the lack of physical buttons, yes, I agree with you, one get's used to it. In closing, the only frustrating part is that I have to wait until May to get mine, as I ordered it after driving it. ( I live in Canada, and ours are not going into production until March ) I love this car, and I love the one I have, so I highly recommend this car to those that are on the fence. Thanks for your insight.

Hyundai and Kia are killing it. Honestly I cannot wait for the Kia EV6 electric car.

Recently drove a 21 Niro EV and it's fantastic.

I always enjoy your reviews.
The Tucson's fuel economy isn't class-leading (Toyota), neither is its performance (Mazda), but it's a solid and unique (divisive?) looking all-rounder. I've had one for a couple months and there really isn't much that I've found to gripe about. Since it's a brand new redesign, the question of long-term reliability is probably the biggest demerit for this vehicle.

In a time where it feels like every company is just trying to make as much profit and cutting costs, i really do appreciate what hyundai is doing, they r actually improving and in my opinion even beating out the competition

I love how the Apple Car Play instantly came on, when you turned on the car.

The touch buttons on the newest Kia vehicles makes more sense since they swap functions entirely when you change modes on the control stack, that way there is a reason for them to be touch screens.
