So I discovered Jack about two weeks ago...love this guy... and now I'm starting at the beginning. Am I the only one binge watching a YouTube channel?

I'll be honest that was the last place I expected you to show me!

Very very funny to see first Bake with Jack video. You kept making little jumps, back in the old days. Very nice indeed 😂 Thanks a lot for all the good work and time you've put into it. Real inspiration and amusement!

Generally I'm the only one eating bread here so when my bread has cooled I cut it into slices, halve it, into two freezer bags and freeze it. Then I can just take out what I want, when I want. Freezing adds the equivalent of one day's staling which would happen overnight anyway, plus subsequent days of staling (not drying which is different.
I just found your site a short while ago and subscribed because you make a lot of good points easily understood. 👍👍

Well, that answered my question. Right now my bread is in my cupboard, but the difference is it is wrapped in a kitchen cloth. IS that better or should I take it out of the cloth?

Starting to venture into making my own bread but wasn't sure how I'd store it and this was very helpful. Thanks!

The ants would have a feast if I store my bread in the cupboard without any covering.

Old bread is great for french toast too!

Hi Jack. How would I store my white bread in the freezer? Do I wrap it in something first? I just made 2 loaves of white bread following your video tutorial and they turned out lovely and delicious.

I have a bread box tin. Ive always kept the bread in a bag then put it in the tin. I havent just set it in there without any wrapping ever. Ill have to start doing it this way. Thanks for the tips when it comes to what to do with the bread after so many days. Never lasts that long in our house though 😅

Hey Jack, Greetings from America. I'm new to making bread. Starting here and plan to work my way through your videos, I haven't been happy with the bread i've been making but plan on that changing from listening to your expertise. Cheers!

This guy never seems to age. He looks exactly the same in this vid as he does in ones made in 2022. The Peter Pan of bread making.

Your are a great find. Thanks for 100s of videos to bing over. I started using this storage technology 😅 ; however, not sure if it's the tech or I need to do something to my sourdough baking. The crumb is becoming teflon tough over time. If I toast, it dehydrates and becomes even harder to deal with. Is it storage or something else?

Thanks Jack! I really needed this one. I've been wondering how to keep my crust crunchy and my crumb from drying out.

I just leave my bread out in the open and the inside stays soft and preserves the flavor.
If I put it in plastic, the whole thing goes stale tasting but stays soft.
