Guys don't do any of dat shit its pretty simple to fix this issue you have corrupt system file that's the problem just type in the settings Reset and click reset this pc don't worry you won't reset your pc actually it will take you to a page you will find on top option says "Fix problems using windows update (your apps, settings, files) click Reinstall now after you do that go to windows update you should find an update by the name windows 11 update (Repair version) it should be repair version!! If it didn't shows up restart your pc and try again once the update complete click restart and this will fix your system corrupted files

Haven't happened in couple of years now, but last few times it did, cleaning the SoftwareDistribution folder (when Wupdate is NOT running!)& restarting usually fixed it.

But if that doesn't work I'll try some of these !

I have never had much luck with the "Reset this PC" when I need to fix mine I usually end up having to grab my Windows flash Drive, dump all of the partitions, and install it from there.

Thanks so much for this video. This is the 1st time that I've run into this problem with cumulative updates which fails everyday in an auto install, but shows as installed in the history section. Being 74, a lot of this is really hard for me, but I've followed your tutorials before with success. Hoping that this works, as the thought of having to reinstall all my apps is something I'm not looking forward to.

Mine reaches 94% then just stops working and comes up with the undoing changes message

I had this issue with the last two cumulative updates. What I did to get the updates to install without issue was to disable all antivirus/internet security software including windows defender. The antivirus/security software had to remain disabled during the entire windows update process, which may include a reboot to finish the install.

So I did a while reinstall wiped out everything. Just finished installing windows. And the update thing is still doing it. I give up.

I had another issue where I couldn't download any updates. DISM, sfc scan, disabling/re enabling update service, and every other troubleshooting issue didn't work. Had to call Microsoft. Not sure how windows update is always broken

I literally cant restart my computer because my computer is stuck in the "undoing changes" screen. When i turn my computer off and i turn it on again it just instantly goes to that screen.
