The #1 question I get on this channel is if I take any thyroid medication for my Hashimoto's (Hypothyroidism) after having done the AIP diet. Watch this video to find out - plus whether it might be something you will need to do as well!

There is no shame for needing medication! Thank you for reenforcing this!

Think I am just starting this journey with Hashimoto's (high TSH and low t4). Guess time will tell on what protocol I will have to apply. Thank you for this video and your channel, it is informative and helpful.

This video has really encouraged me today! Thank you Michele for this perspective. I hear so much about how the goal is to not be on any prescriptions, but you’re right, if you need it you can be thankful it’s available to help you. Love your channel!

I was told by the doctor that I would have to take medication for the rest of my life. I take 100mg everyday and I don't think it really has helped all that much other than giving me enough energy to drag myself through the day. You have renewed my hope. Thank you!

I had half my thyroid removed years ago and don’t know what it was called back then, but I had a goiter. I’m on meds for the rest of my life and also deal with psoriasis (had psoriatic arthritis at one point, that’s in remission) and I also have Microscopic colitis. I following a diet for that now, which has pretty much lead me to eating mostly meat. But I want to be able to reintroduce foods once I better. Signed up for you know online thing to help me. I also deal with Fodmap issues, nightshades, histamines and allergic to eggs and yeast😕 But hoping to get better soon. 🧡

Thank you so much for your channel. It has helped me immensely. I went AIP last year for 30 days and it was extremely tough. This time round I'm using all the tips I've gleaned from your channel. Wish I had access to all this info last year.

Currently going through a bad Hashi flare up. I can't get it under control. Been on AIP for 2 weeks now. I've watched almost all of your videos. I can't get the inflammation in my spine to go away as well as bloating. The pain has reduced considerably but it is still there and bad enough for me to need pain killers. It is making me very irritable. 😔

Hi - I've been following your channel a good while now and found it so useful, really empowering and motivating. I was 'diagnosed' with a thyroid problem in 2018 but didn't know it was autoimmune until Jan 2022. Recently just found out I am coeliac even though I had loads of investigations for nutritional deficiencies and IBS. May I ask which way round you had your diagnosis?

Hi Michele! I am thinking about switching over to Armour from Levothyroxine but I have some fear because I have been on Levothyoxine for about 25 years. I am scared of the possible side effects. Did you have any side effects converting from Levothyroxine to Armour meds? Thanks!

Hi, love your channel. I have Diverticulosis and was told by my doctor to take in 30 grams of fiber a day. In order for me to get my 30 grams into 3 meals I have to have a lot of fiber at each meal. I typically get my fiber from Chia pudding, but I know that Chia seeds are not on the AIP list. Would you have any suggestions on how I could get 30 grams a day? Also, is AIP good for weight loss?

When you were diagnosed how high were your antibodies? Just curious since I am dealing with Hashimoto disease.

how did you determine that Levothyroxine should be replaced with Armour?

How about those cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale? Do you eat those vegetables? I like to add those vegetables to my morning smoothie, but I know those vegetables are on the "avoid" list for hypothyroid patient. Like to know your opinion. Thanks.
