Working at international companies is a sitcom worthy experience.

That work-life separation thing is real.
In India, its very common to make friends in offices, hang out with them after hours, visit each others houses etc.
Now I moved to the Netherlands… and except Good Morning/ Have a nice evening, my colleagues hardly speak when they are working.
It’s such a culture shock.

When cultures clash together you get a chair and enjoy the show.

"I'm quitting tomorrow" expression was the most hilarious 😂

As someone who works at an international company, this could not be more accurate 😂

My best boss EVER was Vietnamese. She treated her employees like family, and would even do acupressure on us (if we wanted ofc) if we were starting to get sick, after the restaurant closed. One time she brought me soup broth and an earthing Mat when I was sick. She really was the best.

I've found that a more graceful way to learn of someone's age the asian way is just to ask their year of birth. They're more likely to say it without pause 😂

As an introverted asian, that "I'm not here to make friends, we're just colleagues" feels like a breath of fresh air!

She called her old and chubby, and then she wanted to be friends 😂. Im loving the cultural shocks in this channel.

Lol very true. Some country, asking your age, how much you make, if you're pregnant is very normal and not offensive until they go to a country that takes it offensively. Had a Nigerian classmate ask a white classmate if she was pregnant and offended her so bad. The Nigerian classmate was oblivious why the white classmate was so upset at her. I had to explain to her that in America, if you ask someone if they're pregnant, its like you're calling them fat.

I'm an English teacher in Vietnam. We wear a t-shirt for uniform. When my colleague told our lovely Principal that she needs a bigger size t-shirt, our lovely and friendly Principal said that "she doesn't need a bigger t-shirt, she just needs to make better lifestyle choices"

That zoom-in-out camera technique when every time a character feels shocked is top tier 💯🙏🏻

Your comment section is so interesting and informative. You have viewers from all over the world, and you have really created a community where everyone shares what their culture is like in certain situations. I could read comments for hours. Keep sharing everyone, it makes for a more understanding world.
