I did a similar run as Vietnam a couple days ago. You start with 1 province capable of producing opium and there's several more around you. I was a bit stupid and went to war with China for more opium production territory which made them embargo me so I lost my primary market. If you just keep going south you can keep Qing friendly and keep 'em high :D

For those that don't know, Dust (Dost) mohammad at 2:41 was the general who later became the Regeant King, and then the King of the resurgent Afghani Kingdom. He single-handedly united the former core Afghan-Durrani empire territories and secured Afghanistan proper. The elders who elected him as regeant gave up on ousting him because of his modernization and reformist policies that rapidly militarized and modernized Afghanistan. He then went onto kick the Brits' teeth in, helped free Afghanistan from British occupation, and unite Afghanistan by finally conquering Herat where he declared war on Persia. Basically, the current Afghanistan came to be known as Afghanistan during his reign (minus the Sharia laws). Not quite as awesome as Ahmad Shah Durrani, but a badass nonetheless! Game changing information was when playing France that Eastern/Western mali states had opium. Became number 1 producer with two meh provinces since i maxed them. Also won every way since i rushed field hospitals and was the only one who could use em due to supply, and liberating east india company away from GB.
