To play the game to not play the game. Brilliant!
However, balancing facts:
1. Revolution is in the best case about a 1 year of doing nothing but handling revolution.
2. Big naval invasions still fail without fleet because enemy navy blocks naval supply and invading armies just die.
3. Lacking authority is bad. Over taxation is bad too. There are better ways of building more for less, like decreasing your resources cost by increasing the supply. Cuz in the end all your extra money goes to pay the extra prices to buy wood/iron/steel/glass from your normal industrial circulation. No matter how hard you tax your population, it won't create more e.g. steel for your construction than your steel industry produce.

You can also use the civil wars to push through unwanted reforms.
You switch sides and concede after the war starts. It'll pop you out to the "end screen", but you can just press continue playing as...

On the last dev diary there was something about the war system. I think some rework on the naval invasion will come soon. Also a rework on the front system, that means, less fronts on the Prussian-Austrian war for the soul of Germany, yay.

Honestly, I never thought about that last one exploit. Losing a war to pass a difficult law. Damn, I wanna try that one right now.
