I think a standard butterfly coil is a lot more aesthetically pleasing but to each their own

i’ve been doing mine like this for 44years ! makes your lines drop easy without tangles, i just can’t do it with my 250’ 19mm bulls, my arms start getting tired at 60’ with the big dogs lol

I do exactly this, but if you grab both ends of the rope it is twice as fast and then ends with a loop that acts as a lock.
