Excellent video! 15 min videos focused on one civ is a perfect format, definitely do more! Great to see your channel growing. Keep it up 👍

For most civs I actually recommend democracy if you have some allies. The 30% bonus to district projects is massive because end-game you to want to spam city projects from your non-spaceport cities so that you can get the best great people. The +4 production per trade route to allies doesn't hurt. However, as Germany your production is so massive that the 10% boost to science output may be more important to getting you to the finish line faster.
Someone just posted a tier list that had Germany as B-tier. I couldn't believe it what I was watching. Yeah their early-game isn't great but with hanzas it just doesn't matter.

I was scrolling through all of your videos two days ago, in hope to find this, and was sad to see there wasn't one. Then today it suddenly pops up as if you read my mind. Thank you!

Best policy card for Germany is the military one that gives 100% Industrial adjacency bonus. It is almost custom made for Germany since they have 1 extra military policy slot. Instantly DOUBLE the already insane adjacency bonus for each of your Industrial, Commerce, aqueduct zones trifecta.

Not gonna lie, I really wish I had the resources and space for a PC. I have always loved Civ, but I’m stuck playing on my PS5. Civ 6 is a great game, but is very tedious to play with a controller and no mods. Better map tacks and overall optimization is something lacking on console. Great video as always!

The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus is a good wonder for them as well.

I just finished a sick Germany Science Victory where I was able to feed 8 heavily boosted Hansas to Magnus in my capitol. I was building Laser Stations in 1 turn (over 240 production in capitol) by the time I got the victory 😎

CivLifeR, one idea for a video that at least I would appreciate is a review of add-on civ packages and which ones you might recommend first. They seem intriguing but I feel like I should play all civs before buying more. Getting an opinion on those that are worth a buy before that would be great. Also keep on doing your thing!

As Barbarossa you also get a military policy slot in any government, so Classical Republic does not hamper your military as much as other civs. Once you get Craftsmen, it's generally good to keep it running always - 100% Industrial Zones adjacency bonus makes Hansas even more redonk than they already are.

“I’d highly recommend communism for most cases, except probably real life.” Bro I love your humor, that really sets you apart from the other YouTubers, subscribing.

I'm very new to Civ 6 so I love this great overview. I'm just wondering if there's a good "placement strategy" out there for all the districts and adjacencies that Germany needs

A guide like this for the A-tier Civs, or civs like Brazil and Nubia, where their bonuses don't force a certain victory type as opposed to Russia or Korea

A Secret strategy you forgot about is a way to get districts almost 50% less

City patron goddess pantheon,
Get liang’s promotion that makes districts cost 20% less, u can settle a city, go for monument get liang when liang is established go for a district or two most of the time u should go for one so u can cycle Liang very quickly and more efficiently.

I'm so glad you went with german sweat shops instead of your usual ww2 references.

Thanks for the video, very straightforward. I have a question. I'm am playing on King level and I never get so much space and time to expand and setup as you did in this game. Barbs were about the same and was glad I had my 2 warriors and archers but by the time my settler was out, expansion was out of the question. May I ask what this setup was? Thanks again.

It’s hilarious watching the great people points, because it usually looks like this
Great Engineer:
Egypt: +5
France: +8.5
England: +11.5
Germany: +19.5
