So why didn't the kids get inside, and why is dad carrying around the child?

There have been at least two fatal coyote attacks in the U.S. and Canada. One in 1981, a 3-year old child in Los Angelos California who died of injuries from a coyote attack, and most recently in 2009, a 19-year old female was fatally attacked in Cape Breton Nova Scotia Canada. There have been hundreds of other attacks where people especially children have been severely injured, requiring many stitches and left with trauma from the attack. There have been even more attacks on pets with many pets killed by coyotes. Researchers say that most of the attacks on people are preceded by stalking of the victim by the coyotes. In addition where coyotes stalked or attacked small children, the possibility of serious or fatal injury was very high if the child had not been rescued.

Coyotes are predators and a danger especially to children. Their hunting patterns are said to be changing because of a decrease in their usual sources of food. Do not underestimate coyotes. They are not friendly or playful dogs rather they are wild animals always hungry and looking for their next meal.

Well, don't build into their land and this wouldn't be as big of an issue as it is. A new subdivision was built near me and it cleared out 50 acres and people freaked out when wildlife tried to go back to its home. Ya F***ing stole their home. But yes, smart kid to get inside and yelling for dad.

I understand their children and you wanna protect them, but that coyote was barely showing any aggression at all. True, they have diseases and everything like that I understand, but he probably was overreacting a little bit not with the coyote was snarling and being aggressive then oh hell, yeah do what you Gotta dobut it seems like this thing kinda was being playful and knows that it’s a child. They’re not that stupid you know animals.

coyotes weight 30-40 lbs. a. small dog. there has never been a coyote that has killed a human that I know of
