Antinatalism is incompatible with Theory X - Fumitake Yoshizawa
David Benatar has claimed that antinatalism derived from axiological asymmetry provides solutions to non-identity problem, repugnant conclusion and mere addition problem therefore is compatible with Derek Parfit's theory X. This paper denies that and tries to present gaps in David Benatar's claim.

If Death = Non-existence, then that's the same as "Before Birth"... Before Birth= Non-existence. And so Death and "Before Birth" are both "non-existence"... But now we have to recognize that "non-existence before birth" was ended by a life (the one reading this). So it was merely the birth of a life that ended "non-existence"... So, we must ask ourselves: "Will there be lives after I die?"... Well, we know that animals here on Earth will exist and have babies after you die. And we know that humans will exist and have babies after you die. And its possible that there's life elsewhere in the universe that exists and will also have babies after you die. And so, if it was merely the birth of a life that was responsible for ending "non-existence", and there will be lives after you die, then thats the very same scenario all over again. Non-existence will once again be followed by a life... One that exists after you have died. It will not be a continuation of you. It'll be a completely different life that has nothing to do with you. Its a simple matter of life continuing to exist in the universe after the life that's reading this has died. So heres the equation:
Non-existence, life born= existence... Death (non-existence), a different life born= existence.

This also applies to the scenario where you were never born. _That_ non-existence would have also been followed by a life, as there were (other) lives existing and born at your time of birth.

So there's no escape... If it isn't one life it's another.
