I have never been a fan of CH but " it would be immense help if Israel tells where its boundaries should be, every other country does that" is a timeless classic.

Didn't agree with everything Hitchens said...but the big difference between him and todays professional gum-flappers is that Hitchens always showed his workings...he was always able to explain within his answers, in simple terms, how and why he came to his conclusions within his answers and that alone is worthy of respect.

I know CH was an atheist and highly critical of those with faith such as myself, having said that, I truly miss this man and I feel his absence from political discourse is truly a immense loss for humanity as his insights in this field were incredibly fascinating and truly an amazing contribution.

Israel can declare it's views of its borders when the Palestinians declare their views on the acceptance of Israel's right to exist, and includes the majority of Palestinians. Until then your words are no more than Kalam Fadi which is Arabic for empty words.

Uh…. I’m pretty sure Israel was OK with the original borders drawn up before the 6 day war, after which the surrounding Arab nation suddenly demanded backsies…. This seems either uninformed or disingenuous. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nobody denies or are against Jewish people having their own state called Israel, but that definitely doesn't mean that such a state should come about at the expense of a population already living in the land....the Palestinians!

It's like a descendant of your town who hasn't set a foot in your land all of a sudden rocking up, taking over the entire town & renaming, kicking the locals out & massacaring any who try to resist, & then play victim to justify enforcing an occupation on them! Israel's actions & atrocities are absolutely ludicrous!

Wrong, Christopher. Israel was not illegally occupying Judea/Samaria. But right they should formally annex it and be done with the ambiguity of winning wars and having to constantly fight the same wars again in different forms because they are being attacked on the border of their country and rightly won territory.

Israel has no right to exist but because it's been there since 1948 Israel should except the reality that Palestinians also living there for centuries so Palestinians must have their state with capitol of East-Jerusalem. Israel must get out of Golan Heights and from Shebaa Farms.
