Not sure I would say "no counters" most steels can handle Goodra/Empeoleon easily enough. Throw in a dark like Mandibuzz, Sableye, Umbreon etc and you can counter the team with just two mons.

Why would they nerf steel wing? 2 Pokémon use it and yes they’re good but they aren’t OP. Maybe it’s just the teams I run but at no point have I thought skarmory or empoleon hurt my experience of this game. Doubt I could say the same if carbink became top meta

I did sort of ok with granbull lead magneton in back and hippowdon all shadow. Completely alignment dependent I think the hardest opponents were mud boys, mostly non shadow swampert, typhlosion and serperior. This team had very specific targets in what I was seeing when I ran it. Carbink, dragons, I saw a lot of scrafty a lot of mantine and peliper, plenty. Of unbreon. I mainly stuck with this team for most of the cup rotation

Mandabuzz and umbreon is everywhere. And i dont know in english, but irokex and barrikadax have some playtime

Cofa is good but it just feels so slow. It would be nice if it learned a cheaper move like Brutal Swing but it doesn’t. It could be meta otherwise.
