Maybe someday “Wolfey’s top ten favorite teams that DIDN’T win tournaments” to have a peak at some gems that didn’t make this video

Its now clear why wolfey hates incineroar so much. He stole the job of wolfeys one true love scrafty.

Incineroar first appears at 0:15, right before the scene transitions :) (note: this comment was made before the thumbnail was changed, incineroar now appears in the thumbnail before you even click on the video)

Wolfie really bringing home that he is a true unovian/american pokemon trainer having a full team of 6 unovian pokemon (scrafty, thundorus, landorus T, amoonguss, conkeldurr, gothitelle) that has won him tournaments at least 3 times, then an additional 8 more. So out of 56 pokemon, 1/4 of them were Gen 5. God bless Unova!

Say what u want but no one can deny that 2016 VGC Champ Wolfe was DRIPPY. Its like he knew he was for sure winning and said "Let me sauce on em"

Man, I feel like these videos have really changed the landscape of competitive Pokemon in a very positive way.

Before, I feel like singles Smogon was what everyone was talking about, thinking fans having control would lead to a better system (plus they match the story mode, making them feel more natural to most people). And I think these videos have informed me and a lot of others that VGC really is the better format with more options.

I think you’re playing a major role in competitive Pokemon getting more popular, so I wanted to say thanks. And keep that artist that makes your thumbnails; they do such a great job

For anyone interested, it takes 15 seconds for incineroar to appear in a video about tournament pokemon

Wolfe and Incineroar are like batman and robin. Although I don't think wolfe would look good in green tights.

Edit: Ya'll are down horrendous.

00:10 Wolfe: I am awesome and I don’t think enough people know how cool I am.

Ok so what I've learned about good team-building from this video:
-Unless it's Will-O-Wisp (and maybe Draco Meteor), don't use moves that miss
-Try to have as few overlapping types possible - even in something like rain
-Use the item and EVs that work best for your team, not just whatever is most common (i.e. offensive Cresselia)

The fact that Wolfey has remained relevant in the pokemon VGC scene for 13 years since 2011 is so goated. Only a few have remained so relevant and consistent like Wolfey (Aaron, Sejun come to mind) and this video is a testament to Wolfey’s hard work over all those years.

32:28 going from handshake to hug is just so genuinely wholesome, hoping others see how professional that was. Love to see how this simple game can bring out such deep goodness from people.

Imagine win a tournament and then look at your team and say "i didn't like it very slow pace" or "this chandelure was pretty bad i didn't use it" what a player

Hearing Wolfey talk about some of the crazy decisions he made early in his competitive career (cough gliscor hippowdon cough) makes me NEED a follow up about the worst/most bonkers teams he's brought to tournaments before

I personally really like the parts of your tournament videos where you explain the thought process behind your team, so this video is a treat. Thanks!
