Square Jaw Line

What does a square jawline mean?
With a square face shape, your forehead, cheekbones and jaw will be the same width, but your jaw will have sharp angles to it.

Your jawline is the part of your lower jaw which forms the outline of the bottom of your face. The REAL causes of malocclusion (“bad bite”) and facial development issues:

-Mouth breathing (often accompanied by enlarged tonsils and adenoids, allergies)
-Bad tongue position (low tongue posture, tongue resting between the teeth)
-Poor oral positions (lips apart, bottom jaw hanging open, excessive inward pressure of lip and cheek muscles)
-Adverse swallowing patterns
-Thumb-sucking, excessive pacifier habit (lead to open bite)
-Genetics. It is notable that this is less than 10 percent of the overall risk for jaw/facial development issues. Epigentics, comprised of the environmental factors listed above, is the dominating factor in malocclusion, weak chin and facial development issues.
