Stovetop Pressure Cooker // Easy Basmati Rice Demo

There are so many videos on YouTube about making rice in an electric Instant Pot pressure cooker but none showing the stovetop method--until now! Here I'll show you the simple and quick stovetop method using my 3 litre Hawkins Classic. The word basmati translates literally to "the fragrant one". Basmati rice is commonly used in Indian cooking due to its aromatic nutty flavor and is one of the most popular long grain rice varieties in the world.

**RECIPE NOTE: Results will vary. If you prefer your rice fluffier (less chewy) experiment with extending your cook time to 4 minutes.
