How To Sequence Yoga: Do I Have To Spice It Up?

There's a lot of pressure out there to be "interesting" in our sequences. Is this important? What should we be thinking about when we are creating our sequences? How can we feel good about what we're offering?

Author and senior teacher trainer (and one of my besties) Melanie Salvatore-August joins me to hash it out.

Yes! One of my yoga teachers during YTT told me that it's not what you teach, it's how you teach it

I dont think I have repeated the same practice. In each practice I invest myself so I can relate to what everyone is feeling. I have a couple of series or “families” or asanas which I use wholly or partly in each practice, according to how the practice is evolving and the physical capabilities of the majority. My main focus is honing how the practitioners handle the intensity of the poses.

True yogis don't squash bugs, it violates ahimsa.
