Love that the Carburetor cleaner was labeled “Carby Cleaner” 😂

Thank you for the instructional !

I wound up taking my carb off cleaning 3 times to no avail. You showing the idle screw had me doing this for the 4th.
After cutting new gaskets from a cereal box, cleaning up the carb yet again, and taking a very small fish hook, cutting it so I could ream The main jet, reassemble and good to go.
Thanks again.

This is exactly the problem I am having with my machine. All my fault for letting it sit unused for an extended time with fuel in the line. Thank you so much for posting this video how-to. I now have a project for this weekend.

OK, I had the same problem with my Pressure Washer "surging". I took the Carburetor apart and cleaned that about four times but it kept surging. The pump I dismantled completely and found a small piece of rubber washer from where I don't know as I checked all of the washers and none were broke. It was stuck in one of the small tubes where there are small valves with rubber caps and springs under them.I really had to take a good look and I found it when I was pushing the valves down with a tiny screw driver. One just wasn't moving like the others. I took a small pair of surgical clamps, very great to get little parts, and plucked the piece of broken washer out of the tube. I then re-seated all of the valves and carefully pushed them up and down to make sure they worked. Pump back together, new oil and all cleaned up and the surging was fixed. Just saying that if you look at the Carburetor make sure you look at the Pump. If the Pressure Washer only surges when you put a load on (pressing the wand gun trigger), then you'd better look at the Pump. Disassemble, diagnose, new oil (PUMP - Karcher KA-8.901.077) and reassemble you're looking at about four hours to do a REALLY good job. Oil was BLACK, new Oil is clear and the Pressure Washer works like a champ. Hope some of this helps!

Great video, I have the very same power washer and have the exact same problems. I will follow your instructions and pretty sure mine needs the very same procedures for cleaning it all up. Thanks for your time giving this to all of us😄

Not the Hondas fault, its as you said leaving fuel sitting in the machine for too long .
Just cleaned out my mariner outboard with the same problem after fuel was left in it for 10months .
Those GCV160 Honda motors are some of the best out there I have used them in my contracting business for years !

Good video chap. I have same machine. Had it for years. I just noticed it as having same issues as yours. I made mistake of leaving fuel in tank over winter months without adding a long term storage solution. Your presentation was most helpful. Cheers

This video helped out today with my pressure washer. I had the exact same problem. Had it up and running within a 1/2 hr.

Wished you had shown just what a bugger it is to put the carb back on. Each gasket and the pain it is to keep them aligned while assembling the throttle and choke linkages, then putting the pcv tube on and bolting through all the individual pieces and not having anything fall off as your doing it.

Great video. Thanks. If anyone got lost due to the parts not being in the center of the video the whole time, they should probably not try this and take it to a professional. Those blanks are easy to fill in.

Honda GCV-160 Carburetor Jet Part numbers: Stock Main Jet#99101-124-0650 (#65). Bigger sizes: #99101-124-0680 (#68), #99101-124-0700 (#70). I went with the 70.

Awesome video. I’ve never heard it called carby cleaner before!! I struggled getting my jet cap screw out as well. I ended up not pulling the long jet. And I have to do that now.

Have new Amazon-returned Dewalt PW with a GX 160. Runs well at full spray throttle, but stmbles/bumbles and backfires at idle. Pulled card and cleaned. No debris as PW is nw but may have sat a bit after starting. Replaced fuel. Cleaned air cleaner. Still hunting. Noticed PCV hose was dislodged.
