I've been in an RV park for 2 years. I absolutely love it. 650.00 per month including water, sewer, sanitation, 100.00 in electric, pool, bathhouse, fishing pond, trails. Very quiet. I'm staying my ass right here. 🤣

I'm not doing it yet, but to me, two of the pros are: 1) Living lighter and being able to do the things I really want to do with my life, rather than spending my time earning money to take care of my house and stuff, pay for it, etc. 2) Being able to clean my home in 1 hour.

1st time viewer new subscriber. Ive been living stationary full time at a RV resort for over 3 years. I No longer need my $1400 month f350 truck payment. If i need to move my 45ft 5th wheel, i hire it out. I love my RV life!

I love stationary RV living. For me it's the home base and the ability to save money towards my goals.

Living in an RV park full time means you can have a regular doctor, dentist, etc. You can have an electrician, plumber, and other service people without having to go looking each time if you are on the road. Also, you will have favorite restaurants, activities, etc.

Great Video! I have ended up living stationary on a lease lot. I go to my mom's that is about 30 miles away to take care of her. This is my getaway to just unwind at times. Like you say there are pros & cons. I hope to have a travel van one day for my traveling times. It does take time and watching you has made me think about things that have save me allot of troubles. Thanks again!

Great video! Newly retired, late 50's here and getting ready to live the "Snowbird" RV Lifestyle. Gonna do 6 months of Seasonal Florida Winters Nov.-April and Maine beaches Summer Seasonal. Owned a mint Holiday 32 ft. Summer Seasonal on the water at York Beach, Maine for quite a few yrs back in the 80's and 90's. Now I'm a retired single w/kids all grown up into young professional adults, I'm gone! I just remember the enjoyment of being in my 20's back in the 80's and living every summer at the beach. Just like Eddie Money singing "I Wanna Go Back." I'm done w/New England Winters and the Nor'easters, blizzards, ice & snowstorms. So sick of Winters. Time for the Snowbird Lifestyle!

Excellent info. I was considering living full time in a park model rv, but now, I'm not sure it's for me; (or that I am that kind of guy.) I'm older now, and not as physically capable as I once was. Plus, I'm retired, and there is a lot of things I just don't want to do any more. (I know how I am.) I'll still look into it, but this has made me think about specific things. (I'm not as tolerant of noisy neighbors as others might be. And I don't think I'd take care of the RV like I should.) But THANKS, it made me realize what I'd be getting into, and I'm not sure I would be a good fit for that lifestyle.

Thank you for the video. I love all the reasons for living in an RV park. It's exactly what I want to do. Saving on gas, wear and tear, moving a lot are all things that I'm thinking about.

Correct about less wear & tear on your RV. Great point. People don't realize as your traveling w/your RV there is a lot of flexing on the unit. Especially w/a travel trailer besides the motorhome. Continuous flexing can cause more maintenance of the weather seals around windows, roofline, ac's etc.. Especially on the lower quality RV's. A lot of them out there! Less wear & tear on a Seasonal or Full Time site RV.

Regarding laundry, to me it's actually a pro to use a laundromat. I'm done with laundry in about 1.5 hours instead of spending all day doing it.

Remember, stationary is relative. That could be a year at a time or just a few months at a time. You can get monthly rates at a lot of parks. Spend a few months maybe work camping at one park, then find another work camping gig a little ways away that gives you new scenery and new things to check out on your off days. Summer up north and winter down south. That said, we had a great time wintering in the hills or NW Oregon. It was a little creepy when we got over a foot of snow and we knew there was only one other person in the entire state park. A definite "Shining" moment.

My wife and I are from Canada and we are retiring in 2 years and we've had enough of winters, so we're getting an RV so we can live the snowbird lifestyle, so 6 months down south for the winter and back up home for the summer. We'll have different destinations every year but will settle in the same camp at the destination we choose for the season.

Thank you for posting an excellent video. I have a house and a class b rv. I’m considering downsizing and leasing my house and then live in my class b for about a year or two. You gave me a lot to think about and made me think twice. I need to make sure I have covered all of my bases before diving in. If I make a video on this, I’ll shout you out for certain!! You got yourself a new subbie!! 💚🦚💚🦚 stay safe 🤗🤗
