The advantages of having implant supported teeth is there is no risk of loosening of teeth while swallowing, drinking, chewing etc, there is no need to worry especially in social gathering for the fear of dentures being fallen out, you can enjoy your meals with the fixed set of teeth. They look natural, they feel natural, the bone is preserved especially where the implants are placed. And there is no need for you to report every 2 or 3 years for the wear and tear of parts unlike your overdentures. There are no routine diet restrictions. The cons of fixed implants especially when full mouth implants are made are it is difficult to maintain the teeth clean. It is rather easy to clean the over denture but it is difficult to clean the fixed dentures or the fixed implant teeth or you have a special aids or cleaning brushes or the cleaning aids to clean the dental implants or they are rather expensive comparatively cleaning in full mouth implant is difficult because it is spread over large area. Weight of the prosthesis in full mouth implants is high because of possible framework which is in between.
