That lob, that backhand volley and 6 first serves to win your first ever Wimbledon against the man with the most grand slams. This guy is just built different!

100% of his first serves in at such a moment and playing a dropshot right after missing one, he’s got nerves of steel

I never get tired of watching this final game. Just look at his poise, confidence and focus in between points. Not even a small fist pump, no energy wasted on celebrations.
What an unbelievable performance.

Everyone talked about the second dropshot after he missed the first one, but the backhand volley was even more special

This game alone beautifully summarises Alcaraz’s elite mentality and also indicates that… this is just the beginning of a dynasty!👏🏽

No one in the history of tennis has served out a five setter in the final of a slam with more cajones and skill than that. And at 20 yrs old? God tier.

Here's my old school self, having seen evryone from Becker, Agassi, Sampras to Fed, Rafa, Djoko wondering whats wrong with the current generation and along comes Alcaraz. He's scary good. What mentality. Bravo!

So happy he won. He had a tough draw. He truly earned this GS title the hard way. Great job. Congratulations to him on his second Grand Slam win by age 20. Amazing.

Love that he played the drop right after missing one. What an incredible talent with balls of steel.

This level of mental resilience is elite-level...at that age, against the GOAT (on paper at least)... absolutely mindblowing.

This guy is the real deal. To have that level of talent and composure at that young age is truly amazing.

Bravo to the new King. He seized the first match point, didn't choke like many others. That's the big difference between him and the many wannabes, he is fearless and doesn't fold under pressure!

it shows how complete he is. dropshot, dropshot +lob, 1rst serve point, 1 volley all in one game

To overcome Nadal on clay and Djokovic in the 5th set must be the toughest thing in tennis in my opinion. Alcaraz has managed to achieve both.

This guy on this day was not to be denied. That final game was so impressive. His composure was on another level.

-The balls (no pun intended) to go for a drop shot lob combo on the very next point after missing a drop shot.
-The reach volley at 15-15 off a VERY good backhand cross court from Novak, wow.
-His mental stability at 30-30 after playing a very passive point at 30-15
-Held it together on match point, controlled aggression.
Made 6/6 first serves.

All this against a guy who was undefeated on that court for 10 years.

Incredible.

I don't think I ever saw Djokovic more perplexed or out of answers. It required something extraordinary to defeat him and Alcaraz brought it. Absolute pleasure 👍

Nole played a perfect return game....put 5/6 returns into play, won two points, and i can be sure that the running passing at 15-15 was a winner against 98% of the players, but Alcaraz just played as clutch and determinad as it can be... and Nole acknowledged that in his runner up speech. That kind of return game against Tsitsipas, Ruud, Rublev, Medvedev, Fritz, Rune...even Roger and Maybe Rafa ends up in a break.

100% first serve ? Trying a drop shot after a failed one along with a lob too? An incredible backhand volley ? Alcaraz did so many unbelievable things on this match
