I had Carlos in 4, but to win in straight sets is an obliteration. It’s the changing of the guards ladies and gents. Carlos is HIM 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️

Many people will say bcoz Novak is 37 years old, others will say bcoz Djokovic had a knee surgery but when a player like Holger beaten in straight sets they didn't say that.
Alcaraz is an incredible player

Alcaraz at age of 21 has won 4 grandslam titles, just astonishing, if he remains fit and injury free he can go way longer ❤

Alcaraz brought attacking tennis back after more than decade of grining boring rallies. He attack with massive forehands like roger. And i love it

I've been following Novak very closely, ever since his debut in 2006. Yes, he was a completely new player from 2010-11. But this is the first time, even from his debut years, I've seen him totally crushed, demolished so badly on a tennis court. This defeat must be a crushing blow to his massive pride.

Carlos' game was a thing of beauty today. He never let Djokovic get comfortable. Even when he got nervous trying to serve out the match the first time. He was not to be denied. In one of his press conferences during the FO, he used a quote by Michael Jordan that said the finals aren't for playing they are for winning. And he certainly lived up to that quote today. Congrats young man, it's your world now!!

Well, what can I say... Almost every winner is universe-class from him. I have never seen tennis can be played like his. What word can I use to describe "beyond the GOAT"? Sincere respect from a Novak fan 👏🏻👏🏻

Carlos Alcaraz's victory today definitively marks the changing of the guard in tennis

2024 is the year of retribution. Tennis life has come a full circle for Nole (my role model, btw).

The way Djokovic had Federer's number at Wimbledon, literally toying with him at times and putting him through deep humiliation in front of his beloved crowd, and then taunting and belittling the crowd, has come back to bite him...badly.

Novak thought he's Mister Invincible. By the sheer force of his will and massive pride and skill, he decimated opponents at Wimbledon. But today, Carlos Alcaraz put Novak through the same humiliation he usually dishes out, Federer being the victim, mostly. He was helpless, lost, and clueless for the first time since his meteoric resurgence in 2011. His ego deflated, his pride scattered.

This was more than a defeat. This was a literal massacre.
