Looking in retrospect... Was a key moment of the match. The difference between 1-1 and 2-0 was massive.

One of the rarest things is a man with little experience but talent so great that it overwhelms another man with talent and experience.

The control of nerve while serving at 5-6 by Alcaraz was astonishing. Well played Alcaraz…champion

That last return by Alcaraz is insane...

This was the real turning point of the match. Djokovic's momentum was disrupted and Alcaraz grew in confidence.

Alcaraz had been hitting his backhand flat and strong into Djokovic's backhand. Then at 5-6 and 6-6 Alcaraz hit two off-pace, higher-bouncing backhands. The change in pace threw Djokovic off just enough.

Amazing that Alcaraz came from 0-3 down

Winning the Tiebreak against Djokovic, on centre-court in Wimbledon after Nole was 13-0 in his last 13 tiebreaks is perhaps the biggest achievement of Alcaraz in his young carreer!

Nole fan here but alcaraz' mental strength and agility in this tiebreak and the match as a whole is amazing

During this tiebreaker Nole had early momentum and Carlos obviously perturbed still kept his focus. Uncanny setpoint saved then the incredible backhand return to clinch the 2nd set. No one talks about Carlos's backhand, but it is a formidable shot with great variety. He blocks, drives, drops, and now he is slicing heavily on the grass which caused the breakdown of Nole's great backhand. Uncanny display of mental fortitude from the Spaniard.

This was the first match I have seen Djokovic's confidence waver, Alcaraz can really hurt him and that is something Djokovic has not experienced for some time now.

Down a set, facing set point. Alcaraz is one cool customer.

Everyone is talking about how Novak missed his backhands and/or choked those points. No one talks about how clutch Alcaraz was on his second serves which were pacy and accurate. He didn't miss and the BH return off a very good first serve was 🔥

The two back hand misses would not have happened against anyone else. Djokovic got tight. (Federer style). Alcaraz is the first player to emerge who can actually worry him. Tennis is such a mental game. Once doubt creeps in against the younger challenger. Federer had that most of his career with Djokovic and Nadal. Djokovic had never faced this before this final. All the next gen lot simply weren't on his level. Not having a world class younger challenger, is one of the reasons Novak broke the slam count. Alcaraz is so good it's ridiculous. So glad he won.

This was like Federer beating Sampras. Changing of the guard. 💪

Alcaraz returning was amazing. He put so much pressure on Nole's serve. Also heavy topspin he employed and the passing shots. Really earned the win. Even nole gave him. Credit but his fans r making excuses.

That backhand on set point was so smart, he knew Novak might go to serve and volley in a big point and just lifted it down the line
