Not that I am surprised at Pastor John Macarthur's reply. Pastor John is my absolute favorite and trusted Pastor of mine, out of many I listen to. He is so gracious and beautiful.
I have been perplexed about Pastor Lawson . Pastor John always has righteous answer. Praise The Lord!

I am sorry that Pastor Lawson could not fight the temptation and did not ask the Lord for help. When we stay focused on the Lord, we can resist temptation. It is sad that Pastor Lawson lost his leadership this way😢
The days we are living in are the worst and as believers, in the Lord Jesus, we can only survive when we stay focused on Him. Prayers to Pastor Lawson's family. This must be a devastating time.

We do not know yet if Steve Lawson was in this relationship for some time while still preaching God’s Word, if so then that is not only immoral but deceiving the people he was preaching too.

Steve Lawson was without a doubt a terrific preacher who had a profound influence on me. He spoke the truth a 100%... It is shocking what would seem as if he was not living tbe profound biblical truth he was preaching. May the Almighty Heavenly Father have mercy and grace on Steve just as He did with King Dawid of the Bible. That said, that could only happen when he runs to the Saviour and pleads sorrowfully for forgiveness!!
