Thank you very much for mentionning my Reshade preset !! Personally, I don't necessarily like cranking up saturation and vibrance like this (at least not in this game), I prefer more natural colors, without breaking the fantasy spirit of the game. The things that I'm very enthusiastic about are complex effects like RT, SSR and MXAO that greatly improve graphics of older games (if tweaked properly). Very interesting video, especially for people that are new to modding ! All the best !

Personally I like more of a grim look to the game. Adding all of that contrast and coloration kinda takes away from it in my opinion.

I bought witcher 3 over a year ago and couldn't get into it, with a very poor computer.. now i've built my 8700k /2080 XC ultra... I loved doing this to skyrim! A project for the night!

Ignore this guy. Install the HD rework and no dirty lenses flair. Anything else will effect FPS to much or to buggy and ruins the game

The one game I never thought mods changed much. Like playing Witcher on ultra still looks fantastic. Sure the mods clean a few things up but non it's groundbreaking. It's not the same effect to modding Skyrim that's for sure.

2:50-3:11 I'm having a REALLY hard time believing you were running ultra graphics here. I'm running a 1080ti and on ultra it doesn't look anywhere NEAR as garbage as this. Shoot, even the mods you added later still don't look as good with everything on stock game, no mods, and ultra settings.

No mods on ultra settings graphics STILL blows me away at how good everything looks...I don't know, I'm just not believing that 2:50 and beyond footage. That doesn't look even remotely close to my ultra graphics with no mods.

If not for the Witcher 3 controversy regarding AMD publicly accusing Nvidea of preventing AMD optimising the game at all from not sharing this API with them to do any optimisations. Originally discovered amongst the Project Cars community. The news stories on it are compelling to me. I own a AMD Vega 64 Strix. I am not a gamer that takes litely to companies screwing the consumer over for their own selfish benefit. Super cards are another recent good example

On a side note Brett. Great vid and i am also glad you chose Witcher 3 to publicly share mod things like this with. As apposed to Bethesda and also it's associate companies make the single worst optimised games around. They screw the community waaaay harder. And will keep doing so in future games using the same engine as they have already announced. I fear The Elder Scrolls 6 will be as buggy and broken as all other games using the same engine. It's great to see a reviewer still able to know games so well. I can't think of any other popular tech YouTuber that is a true gamer and still up to date with all the games.

A Gtx 750 Ti runs this game really, really good. I've got hairworks on & just about everything on ultra. Shadows low, draw distance low. :)

Saw this mod in another video and I'll say what I said in the last one... The lighting fx in this game are already so good, that Ray tracing hardly does shit for this game. Unless you just LOVE donating your frames to it. In that case, enjoy!
