Right now I don't have the time to follow this tutorial but I will definitely do it in the future. Thank you for the time to do it and the great explanations. And of course thank you for adding the beginning and the end of the game when the video starts!!!! You're great! BTW did you participate in the GMTK jam past weekend?

Question: Are Python games, something that can play on all computers? Im pretty new to game programming.
I'm trying to workout, which language to start with. Twit.TV says, Leo says, Python. Which the SpaceX runs off C++ and some Python, so it must be something to this language... so I'm going to follow these Python tutorials and also join the RL tutorial in near future. Oh, i am a huge fan of Monty Python LOL!

As a newbie- coder, I took weeks, hard wrote all the Pseudocode down on paper, working out my roguelike game's programing rules, (very primitive, ) and now close to moving into coding stage of development. I've never coded a game, and my last experience coding was on a TRS-80... and basic Actionscript. Im aware Actionscript is kin to Javascript, however, i wanted to explore- just a bit, before picking the language, the right language to -lockdown- and go full force - immerse deep learning. I've been researching and downloading - sampling different languages, to see which one, "catch on, " the best. C and C++ seem closer to my Basic days. Im working on a Windows 10 computer, and setting up a development environment is a nightmare for a new game programmer. Im now going to test out Python. My goal, is build a roguelike that can play on ANY computer, which is what lead my orignal plan towards C language and using Ncurses (like C++.) Setting up the development have been, confusing on Visual Studio Code, for example, I had to download PDncurses for Windows 10, but where to place the darn PDncurses files are a mystery. I need something simple to learn game develop, that doesn't require mess and confusion.
