First, I need to say that I am a Certified Osteopath, a Yoga Instructor and a Pilates trainer, so I understand the body from these 3 perspectives combined with the knowledge I have gained from your eye care videos. So, I understand that once any ligaments are stretched out, they are like rubber bands and will never go back to their original shape and that the only thing that can help is to strengthen the small stabilizing muscles around the ligaments. With that said, there are eyelid strengthening exercises using resistance training. From you, I learned to put my fingers at the outer edge of each eyelid and to contract these muscles by opening and closing my eyes. From facial Yoga exercises, I learned to use my index fingers below my eyebrows and to open and close my eyelids using these muscles. Also, you can pinch the bottom and top of each eyebrow as you open and close each eyelid. There are also exercises for the lower eyelid where you place your index finger above the cheek bones and open eyes wide and then do the same finger position as you close your eyelids and hold the position. Hope this is helpful to you. You have been extremely helpful to me in learning about eyelid and eyecare. Your videos are invaluable.

Hi....you have been so helpful to me and my eye lid problems after both cataract and glaucoma surgery last year. The eye doctors in my area did not know how to help me, so I sought out a Dermatologist who prescribed Tacrolimus to suppress my eyelid immune system's swelling reaction to Zioptan and the previous eye procedures I had last year. Just a dab with a Q-tip on several spots of my eyelid where the swelling eyelid runs against my eyeball making me tear with the teardrop not being able to drain properly because of the swelling. Also from the medical procedures using the devise to hold my eyelid open, the ligaments and inner eyelid skin was stretched out. So, in addition, I am using eyelid muscle strengthening exercises to strengthen the muscles in my eyelid. These have all helped immensely and I wanted ti share this with you, so you might be able to share this with others. Thanks for all of your podcasts that help so many.

crap ... I got cataract surgery with Light Adjustable Lenses. The power is adjusted with UV lights therapy and got burning and severe dry eyes after the UV light therapy. This means the UV light caused it. How do I undo the damage?
Serum tears? PRP injections?

I'm currently dealing with pinguecula and pterygium. I had one removed from my right eye, but sometimes it still gets irritated and red. The other eye has a pinguecula in its early stage. Aesthetically, I'm getting crazy about having these things in my eyes. there is any estetical chirurgical procedures??ù
