Also using eyelid primer cuts down on sunscreen migrating to your eyes during the day helps too

I also found out that when there's octocrylene, I tend to automatically have burning and watery eyes. I don't know if it is a coincidence, but from now on I try to avoid that filter

The Neutrogena sheer zinc sunscreen stick introduced me to sunscreen sticks and I really like them! It's like having a gua sha but more helpful. I'm just happy my eyes never sting anymore. Thanks for the tips!

This is what I’ve started doing. I love my chemical sunscreens but literally all of them make my eyes burn and water and I look like I’m always in mourning. I started using a mineral sunscreen around my eyes and it is literally night and day difference.

I finally realized to start doing this technique this week and it has been marvelous! I find mineral sunscreen a little too expensive for whole body use and chemical sunscreen is cheaper but stings the eyes. This is the perfect compromise!

I put sunscreen everywhere BUT my eyelids. However, I wear very dark 100% UVA/UVB blocking sunglasses anytime I set foot outside (unless it's nighttime), because I'm very light sensitive. I do the same with my child. I'll put a stick sunscreen on the eyebrow area, and under the eyes, and over the entire rest of my face, but I leave the upper eyelid alone. I've done this for many years and have never gotten sunburned around my eyes, even on the beach. Just putting this here for those that cannot tolerate sunscreen on their eyelids.

Thank you. I have photosensitive dermatitis and my left eye has been getting incredibly angry with my Supergoop.

Oh my god THANK YOU. I went on a summer trip and I swear everytime I put on my sunscreen it burned so bad I couldn’t open my eyes, I had to wash my eyes with soap and I ended up just putting on sunglasses for the whole day😭

Of all the chemical sunscreens I've tried, the one that absolutely does not burn even a little is the Purito Daily Go-To ❤️🍃 It's so gentle and I absolutely love the way it dries down. I have many others that I love but this is the one that I can literally rub onto my eyelids with no issue!

Thanks for the zinc tip! I literally had do go to the doctor because my eyes became extremely light sensitive & hurt A LOT, and as it turned out sunscreen dried out my eyes so bad that my cornea was slightly damaged. I had to stop using it for a while, especially around my eyes, which sucks because my dark circles and undereye wrinkles immediatly got worse. I did almost exactly what you're showing here, except the sunscreen lipbalm I used contains titanium dioxide. What I'm inferring from this video is that zinc is even more sensitive than titanium? Either way, I'll try it :)

I apply a water-resistant mineral sunscreen (Elta MD UV Elements) around my eyes! Works great for a medium skin tone.

I use the Avene Sun stick for sensitive zones and it works wonders around the eyes. Spreads great and totally invisible
