Undertaken by ๐๐๐ฉ๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ค๐ฎ๐ซ, Assistant Professor, Department of Hotel Management, the workshop focused on promoting healthy lifestyle with physical and mental well-being and importance of nutritious food.
The workshop began with introductory address by ๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฃ๐๐, HOD, Department of Hotel Management wherein she emphasised upon the role of nutrition for overall well-being of mind, body & soul. Joining her, ๐๐๐ฉ๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ค๐ฎ๐ซ introduced students to various healthy cooking techniques along with tips to retain the food's nutritive value. She also discussed the pivotal role that lifestyle, nutrition & holistic health plays together & urged students to adopt exercise in their daily lives and healthy eating habits.
Adding a practical element to the workshop, BHMCT students showcased their culinary skills with delicious preparations of Veg Manchow & Lemon Coriander Soup. Overall, the workshop gave budding chefs an insight into the ingredients & nutritional value of various food preparations.
