𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝟏𝟎-𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 𝐅𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐘-𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐏𝐒), 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 wrapped up its 10-day 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 offering galore of valuable learning to the 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 of 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, who were familiarized with the academic framework, institute rules & regulations, which is going to help them further in smooth communication and bridging the gap with their faculties.

The programme, organised 𝐛𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, began with ceremonial lamp lighting by 𝐃𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐫, Principal SRMS IPS, who motivated students to pursue their dreams & make full use of institute’s world-class facilities. She also apprised the freshers about the history & gradual growth of SRMS IPS & SRMS Trust over these years. Later, the orientation programme was taken over by heads of various departments, who further led interactive sessions & introduced students to their subjects.
The 10-day programme gave a candid overview to students about hostel rules, patient safety, biohazards, anti-ragging guidelines, stress & time management etc. An ice-breaking session along with key discussions on significance of communication with patients, leadership qualities, soft skills, personality development etc was quite engaging. Students were also made aware of the role of Allied Health Sciences, Rehabilitation along with comprehensive knowledge-driven sessions on precautions against infections, radiation safety and so on.
