𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐍𝐍𝐅: 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐔𝐏 & 𝐔𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐊𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐄!

The 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐬 & 𝐍𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐌𝐒), 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲, in collaboration with the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 (𝐍𝐍𝐅), recently organized an informative 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 on ‘𝐍𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲’, which saw enthusiastic participation of medical students from different college of 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡 & 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝. The workshop aimed to expand & sensitize PG students about numerous aspects of neonatal care, such as Nutrition, NICU Equipment, Maintaining Asepsis, Kangaroo Mother Care & much more, cultivating a deeper understanding and commitment to improving neonatal health.

Through the hands-on workshop & training, students underwent knowledge-driven sessions & gained invaluable insights on neonatal care. These interactive sessions were designed to enhance the students’ understanding & application of neonatal care techniques, which were delivered by 𝐃𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐮 𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚, HOD Pediatrics, Government Medical College, Haldwani; 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦, Pediatrics, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad as well as 𝐃𝐫 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐢, 𝐇𝐎𝐃; 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐲𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐧 & 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫 𝐀𝐭𝐮𝐥 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫—𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐬 & 𝐍𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐌𝐒.
The students had a wonderful opportunity to attend live demonstrations, wherein they learnt about the latest practices & protocols.
However, the workshop concluded with a post-test cum analysis, to assess the knowledge gained by the participants, followed by a valedictory session.
